Andrew Keys - Keynote

ConsenSys Capital Co-Founder
Andrew is a co-founder of ConsenSys Capital, ConsenSys’ financial services constellation of companies, including ConsenSys Capital Asset Management, ConsenSys Ventures, and Token Foundry. 
Previously, Andrew ran ConsenSys’ global business development from inception of the company, co-founded ConsenSys Enterprise, co-created the first Ethereum Blockchain-as-a-Service offering with Microsoft , and began the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, 
Andrew comes to ConsenSys with capital markets, healthcare, technology and entrepreneurial experience. Previously, Andrew worked for UBS investment bank in equities analysis. Later, he was involved within multiple hedge funds and broker dealers in alternative asset investing. After, he co-founded a healthcare revenue cycle management company where he learned about Bitcoin and eventually Ethereum.

 

Monica Singer - Creator of Opportunities, ConsenSys

 

Monica Singer is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

She was the first CEO of South Africa’s Central Securities Depository (CSD), Strate (Pty) Ltd

which she set up in 1998. Strate provides electronic clearing, settlement and depository

functions for the JSE which includes equities and bonds and also money market instruments.

Strate also does the settlement to all the transactions in the new Stock Exchanges that have

recently been granted a licence in South Africa. Strate also provides services in Swift,

Gateway, corporate actions and investor information. In August 2017 Monica resigned as

the CEO of Strate and all related board positions so she could concentrate in bringing

blockchain technology to all relevant industries.

In October 2017, Monica was appointed as “Creator of Opportunities”

 

Peter Munnings - Technical Lead, Enterprise Delivery
 

Peter has over 25 years software development and training experience.  He is passionate about people, what motivates them and what inspires them.  He has worked in a diverse range of industries, creating software and leading teams of developers and engineers.
 
His experience with power utilities, insurance companies, educational institutions, banks, regulators and asset managers lead him to a place where he felt there must be a better way to transact and share data.
 
In 2014 he was exposed to blockchain technology.  Seeing the potential of this disruptive technology he immersed himself in fully understanding how the technology worked and how it would impact the world.  For 2 years he headed up the blockchain technical team at FirstRand Bank, the biggest bank in Africa before joining ConsenSys in 2017 as Technical Lead, Enterprise Delivery where he is currently responsible for delivery on a number of ConsenSys Enterprise projects.
