H.O.G.® JHB K.I.D.S Blanket Run 2018

Winter on the highveld is not a very pleasant time, the high altitude turns normal cold into a mind numbing freeze during the cold dark days of winter. For so many, this time of year, truelly is a trial of survival.

Harley Owners Group® - Johannesburg Chapter # 9686 in conjunction with all the Harley Owners Group Chapters in Gauteng and many other biking organisations  - organises and runs an annual event to collect blankets and distribute these to those who would have little else for warmth through winter. Often, for these children, animals and families - it is their only warmth.

Open to all licensed riders, the ride is a spectacle as the various H.O.G.® chapters come together to produce an awesome "Rolling Thunder" of hundreds of Harley's rolling through the streets of Johannesburg and collect blankets and donations for those in need.

These tickets are made available for riders, the public and companies to support the event by buying blankets in support of the event. All blankets collected are distributed to registered charities and include places of safety, community shelters, animal welfare and various KIDS organisations.
