2 & 3 November 2018 - 2 days of German bazaar fun
Once a year the German International School Cape Town (DSK) transforms into a hub of authentic German food, beer and festivities, offering many activities for both young and old alike! This year the bazaar kicks off on Friday, 2 November, with a ‘Bavarian Sundowner’ themed afternoon. Expect a relaxed after-work get together or even your 'Year End Party" with live background music while enjoying German specialities like Bratwurst, Weissbier and more.
Saturday, 3 November, the DSK Bazaar 2018 remains the main attraction, aimed at the whole family. This takes place on the DSK sports field from 10:00h - 22:00h. This annual fundraiser is so much more than just a food and beer market; it places a special emphasis on children – it is the German International School after all! You can be certain that there will be plenty to do, prizes to be won, food to eat, things to buy and fun to be had by your little ones!
In the afternoon live music from various South African and German bands will entertain the crowd. Bayernmän, an award-winning Oktoberfest band, from Germany will be, as in the previous years, the headline act, ensuring an extremely festive atmosphere.
On Saturday there will be exciting activities/rides at our FUN PARK*; a sweeper obstacle, blast zone, rocket launcher, go karting, trampolining, fuffy slide, air jump, bow & arrow, face painting and a petting zoo, to just name a few.
Popular with the teens, the YOUTH PARK*; a pool disco with various DJs at the school’s outdoor swimming pool, is set to be a big hit as in the past! Be sure to bring along your costumes!

FUN & YOUTH PARK activity pass: R150 (day pass) or R30 (per individual rides)
