ABOUT
This 16 Days of Activism let’s turn awareness into ACTION. Every day children and women on the Cape Flats face the devastating reality of Gender Based Violence.
In support of the fight against GBV, The Angel Network and Juice Film are proudly launching a campaign to raise funds to build a Safe House - a place of refuge, safety, dignity, hope and healing for survivors. The campaign also aims to raise awareness about GBV.
Every woman and child deserves to feel safe and every survivor deserves to rebuild their life free from fear.
Please join us for the screening of a short film inspired by the story of South African artist Zoliswa Ngxongo - a survivor of GBV herself. A film highlighting the importance of this project produced as a collaborative initiative with several South African film industry companies and suppliers.
Together we can create a sanctuary for those who need it most.
All proceeds of ticket sales and auctioned artwork will go directly to The Angel Network.
