PICK YOUR DISCO CREW!

This time, we’re doing things a little differently!

To keep the music playing and the good vibes flowing, we’ve created four colour-coded crews, each with its own pace.

When purchasing your ticket, simply select the crew that best suits your comfortable running or walking pace.

MAGENTA | SANTA’S DISCO DASHERS | 5:30–5:59 min/km

GREEN | JINGLE BELL JIVERS | 6:00–6:29 min/km

BLUE | MISTLETOE MOONWALKERS | 6:30–6:59 min/km

YELLOW | SLEIGH BELLE STROLLERS | Walking crew — all walking paces welcome.

Each crew will have designated captains to guide the group and help everyone stay together.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Our wireless silent disco headphones operate within a transmission range of approximately 150–300 metres.

To keep the music playing without interruption, participants need to remain reasonably close to their group’s transmitter.

Select a pace you can comfortably maintain, stay with your crew and enjoy the experience.

If you fall behind or move ahead of your group, you can easily switch to the nearest available audio channel (aka colour crew), so don't panic.

We’ll do our best to guide you on the day.

DRESS CODE: DISCO MEETS CHRISTMAS!

Think Elvis Presley rocking around the Christmas tree with Santa Claus!

Sequins, sparkles, disco fever, Christmas cheer, funky sunglasses, tinsel and festive running gear.

The more ridiculous, the better. Just make sure you can actually run or walk in it!

A LITTLE NOTE FROM LRC

We’re a running community with a big love for bringing people together.

This is not a race, a timed event or a professionally organised event. We’re simply a group of running enthusiasts creating a fun, social experience for our community, together with Silent Mania.

Our captains are volunteers, our pace groups are guides, and our priority is to have fun, look out for one another and enjoy the morning safely.

Please participate within your own abilities, follow the guidance of your run captains and understand that participation is at your own risk.
