The Brotherhood of Great Hearts Live at Jozi Gold Brewing Company

THE BROTHERHOOD OF GREAT HEARTS | LIVE

More than a band, the Brotherhood of Great Hearts is a gathering of ideas, histories, and sounds — a living engagement with South African jazz, creative music, and the ongoing pursuit of new compositions.

Rooted in the legacy of Black Consciousness and the vision of an egalitarian society, the Brotherhood carries a shared commitment to truth, love, liberation, and the possibilities of collective expression.Conscious of the complexities of its name, the ensemble reaches beyond gendered boundaries towards a freedom that belongs to all. At its heart lies an enduring ideal: to remain true to the sound, to its history, and to what the sound continues to seek.
