We are still going to face the elements of nature, so be ready for a gust of wind or a drop of rain, we are camping at the end of the day! But if a Tornado or Tsunami is on our way, we will call it a day and refund everyone :)

Looking for something to do, something different, something out of the ordinary? Then this event is for you! Come and join us for the first ever Urban Safari, a first of its kind rooftop camping experience in Cape Town.
It’s about “going away for the weekend” without actually leaving the city, bringing people together and ultimately showing that adventure is possible even in the urban jungle!

Brought to you by WeAreAdventure, Ballo & Scuttle, the night will be filled with good music, good food and amazing views from one of the best rooftops in the city.
What to bring?
- Sleeping Bag / Bedding (including a camping mattress) - we can also easily arrange, just let us know!
- Headlamp
- Any other camping accessory you can’t live without :)
17h30 for 18h00 = Arrival and welcome in front of Bo-Op Collective in Wale Street, Bo-kaap (bag drop).
18h00 = 5km Urban Jungle City Run / Walk (Guided by The Secret Adventurer).
18h45 = Meet on rooftop where tents will be allocated.
18h45 = DJ Tyler will play some cool tunes while we enjoy virgin sundowners looking over Table Mountain (albeit non-alcoholic as we are in the Bo-kaap).
19h00 = The Duchess will ensure the cocktails are on point, snacks will be served and guests can socialise and play lawn games.
19h45 = Begin with the official Camping Food Jam Cook-off event (local flavours and ingredients will be provided to cook on a fully kitted camping gas stove set up)
20h45 = Best dish of the night to be judged by a surprise food blogger/chef…and then the eating can begin in all seriousness!
21h00 = Announce winners and give away a hamper prize.
21h00 = Time for some acoustic guitar sessions, marshmallows braai and more socialising.
22h00 = Lights out / sleep

08h00 = Coffee & Croissant
09h00 = Adventure done and dusted... But feel free to pop in at Harvest for a yummy breakfast!
