Sat Nov 28, 10:00 - Sat Nov 28, 14:00
Veld and Sea
ABOUT
Join Elzanne for an immersive Stone Age food experience at Veld & Sea, exploring how our species survived and thrived in Fynbos for 100s of 1000s of years.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll begin in the glasshouse with an introduction to archaeology and what life in the Stone Age looked like for our ancestors. You will receive a booklet to guide you through the experience. From there, we’ll head out with digging sticks to gather edible wild plants, before returning to Veld & Sea HQ to prepare and cook our finds over open coals.
This is a hands-on, sensory experience that brings ancient food traditions to life through the landscape, the plants and the fire.
