ABOUT

Fieldblend presents: A Taste of the Cape South Coast

Salty air, cool-climate wines and plates pulled straight from the sea. Fieldblend's very first event is here, and you're invited!

A field blend is a wine made from different grape varieties grown and vinified together in one vineyard. That's the idea behind everything we do: independent winemakers, local farmers, small-scale fisheries and our community, all coming together in one glass and one plate.

Join us in our Victorian-era courtyard, tucked into a little cobblestone alleyway in Simon's Town, for a laid-back first taste of Arno's coastal cooking. You might know him from The Kitchen at Maison and Janse & Co. At Fieldblend, his small plates are raw, cured and cooked, built around the day's catch and whatever our farmers are harvesting. We're pairing them with crisp, elegant, low-intervention wines from the windswept Cape South Coast.
