ABOUT

Ever been surrounded by people and still felt like you haven't quite found your people?

Or moved somewhere new, started a different chapter, or simply realised that making genuine connections as an adult isn't always as easy as it sounds?

Same.

We live in a world where we're more connected than ever. And yet, finding a sense of belonging can feel surprisingly difficult.

So, let's talk about it.

Welcome to make room for COMMUNITY - our very first event.

An evening dedicated to exploring what community really means, why we need it and how we can create more of it in our everyday lives.

And because we believe the best conversations happen when different perspectives meet, we're bringing together three speakers who have experienced and built community in their own ways.

Our Speakers:

  1. Jenna Bee - Connect Club
  2. Emmelie Steentjes - Bumbuntu
  3. Mishayalen Lutchman - Rabbit Run Cult

What can you expect?

  • An interactive panel discussion with three speakers and two hosts, where your questions and perspectives are welcome throughout.
  • A room full of people you might not otherwise meet. Come alone, bring a friend and leave knowing a few more people than when you arrived.
  • A little help skipping the small talk. We've got conversation cards to make approaching someone new a little less awkward.
  • Good company, food & drinks. Enjoy a complimentary welcome drink, grab something to eat and stick around for conversations long after the panel ends.

You don't need to be an entrepreneur, a creative or a networking pro.

You just need to be open to meeting people outside your usual circle and hearing perspectives different from your own.

see you there, roomie :)
