The Moosa Foundation, in partnership with the Islamic Medical Association of South Africa (IMASA), Healthcare Workers for Palestine South Africa and Kromboom Medical Centre, proudly presents a South African screening of American Doctor in Cape Town.
Directed by Poh Si Teng, this compelling documentary follows American healthcare professionals who risk their lives to provide medical care in Gaza, bearing witness to the devastating realities of a healthcare system under siege.
More Than a Film Screening
Following the documentary, we will host a thought-provoking panel discussion exploring the realities facing healthcare workers in Gaza, the challenges of delivering medical care in a conflict zone, and the urgent need to protect healthcare professionals, patients and medical facilities.
Through film, testimony and conversation, we hope to deepen understanding, inspire solidarity and amplify the voices of those working tirelessly to save lives.
