Arno Carstens Live | Immortal Blooms Music and Art Event at café Roux - A Summer Outdoor Concert

Join Arno Carstens as part of our Summer Outdoor Concert Season!

South African musician and artist Arno Carstens brings Immortal Blooms to café Roux in Noordhoek on Sunday, 3 January 2027. The exhibition opens at 4.30pm, followed by a live performance at 5.30pm. It’s a rare chance to see both sides of Carstens’ work on the same night.

The evening starts with an exhibition of his latest oil on canvas paintings from the Immortal Blooms collection, all available to buy on the day. Carstens then takes to the stage for a live set of songs from across his career, in English and Afrikaans.

Please choose between:

• Premium seated table tickets are closer to the stage and enjoy the full café Roux food & beverage menu.
• Grass tickets further back are offered in spots comprising 2 to 4 tickets. Here, holders are encouraged to bring a blanket or cushions to sit on - and can enjoy a smaller menu of pizza, salads, calamari, burgers & select drinks.

• Kids pay full ticket price
• Arrive from 4:30pm, show starts 5:30pm
• Like Kirstenbosch, we go ahead in light rain, so please dress accordingly!
• No cooler boxes permitted
• To be considerate to others, only very low beach chairs are permitted on the grass
• Parking is very limited at The Farm Village over the high season, so please walk/Uber/travel together – or use side roads around the Village!

THE COLLECTION

Immortal Blooms is Arno Carstens’ current collection of oil paintings. It looks directly at flowers and finds in them a beauty that survives. The collection is showing at venues across South Africa, with more dates to be announced.

ABOUT ARNO CARSTENS

Arno Carstens has been a defining force in South Africa’s contemporary cultural landscape for over three decades. As lead singer of Springbok Nude Girls and then as a solo artist, he’s won multiple South African Music Awards. He returned to painting in 2007, held his debut solo exhibition at The Lovell Gallery in Woodstock in 2012, and has since shown at Art Basel Miami and NFT.NYC in Brooklyn, New York.
