HOLYWILD - A solo exhibition

HOLYWILD — The Sacred Unruly

Melissa Haiden’s first solo exhibition

Curated by Sara Hallatt

Join us at August House for the opening of HOLYWILD, Melissa Haiden’s first solo exhibition: a celebration of nature, sensuality and the unruly vitality of being alive.

Working from moments of light, sky, water and flowers, Haiden’s paintings invite us to pause and look again. They trace a path back from the fear and vigilance of daily life towards pleasure, openness and connection with the living world. In HOLYWILD, the erotic and the holy meet in the capacity to feel deeply: to breathe, desire, notice and be present.

Opening: Saturday, 7 November 2026

Time: 11:00am–3:00pm

Venue: August House, 76 End Street, Doornfontein, Johannesburg

We look forward to welcoming you.
