The Jesse Clegg has achieved long-standing success on national and international radio and is currently one of the highest streamed artists of his genre in South Africa alongside a reputation for dynamic live performances and international touring. He has performed extensively across South Africa, the United States and the United Kingdom.
Jesse toured globally with his father Johnny Clegg and later co-wrote and executive produced Johnny Clegg's final album, King of Time (2018). In October 2024, he performed his first headline show at Carnegie Hall in New York City, receiving a standing ovation. He is also an official ambassador for the Nelson Mandela 46664 Foundation, using music as a platform for positive change.

The Backyard is fully licensed and there will be various local food vendors offering delicious fare.
Parking is available across the street from the venue, in Kenton road.

No drugs, illicit items or illegal substances may be brought into the venue
No weapons or dangerous items of any kind
Regrettably no pets
There will be a strong security presence during all concerts and any person failing to comply or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave the venue immediately.
