Releasing Music in the Digital Age
Artists teaching artists how it’s done.
You’ve made the music. How do you give it the best chance of reaching people?
Someone’s Gotta Do It (SGDI) opens its five-class series with a practical look at a song’s journey, from building a release campaign to navigating distribution and being discovered on streaming platforms.
Meet your teachers

- Namakau Star: Artist bringing experience from within digital distribution, connecting creative ambition with the systems that get music out.
- Amarafleur: Singer and songwriter bringing experience working within streaming platforms and understanding how music reaches listeners.
- Muzi: Producer, singer and DJ presenting The Case Study: a closer look at his own release journey and the lessons behind it.
