The Muse Room

Cape Town is full of women doing brilliant things, and too often they’re doing it alone. The Muse Room is the evening we’re building to change that.

Hosted by Orange HQ, a digital magazine founded by women, for women, this women-only pop-up brings together stylists, photographers, painters, curators, brand owners and musicians for a night of connection, collaboration and creative energy. It’s an intimate, relaxed space for soft networking. Come and meet like-minded, ambitious women, swap ideas, find your next collaborator and leave with people you want to create with.

What to expect:

• The female-owned sustainable denim brand Kalon.Fire (@kalon_fire) will showcase its designs on the night, so you can see the pieces up close, meet the woman behind the brand and talk about sustainable fashion in the flesh.
• A raffle for a feature in Orange HQ. One lucky guest will win a feature in our magazine, putting her work in front of our community and in our live archive of African women creatives.
• Group activities at the venue. Moosh Artspace offers creative activities, a fun way to break the ice and meet people beyond small talk.

Who it’s for

Women creatives working in Cape Town across any discipline, whether you’re just starting out or already established. Come as you are and bring your story.
