Award-winning South African vocalist Wanda Baloyi invites audiences into an intimate musical journey through the stories, influences and experiences that have shaped her remarkable career spanning more than 25 years.
Born of Mozambican heritage and raised in South Africa, Wanda brings together the sounds and cultural influences that define her artistry, moving between Afro jazz, neo-soul, soul and house. Through live music and personal storytelling, she reflects on her early beginnings, the influence of her musical family, and the journey from a shy young girl singing in private to an accomplished artist sharing her voice with the world.
More than a concert, The Tales of Wanda: Breaking Borders Through Music offers a chance to discover the woman behind the voice, exploring identity, heritage, courage and the power of music to connect cultures and transcend boundaries.
Join Wanda for an evening of soulful sounds, personal stories and musical discovery as she shares the experiences behind the music and celebrates the journey that brought her here.
