MEET THE BANDS:

Megalodon:

Megalodon has been tearing through the Cape Town metal scene since 2012 with a signature blend of crushing riffs, neck-snapping groove, and unrelenting energy. Known for their seismic live shows, this band doesn’t just play — they dominate. With two full-length albums and a battle-hardened history of sharing stages at Metal4Africa, Krank’d Up, Witchfest, RAMfest, and even the legendary Wacken Open Air, Megalodon is no stranger to the pit. Whether it’s a club show or a festival main stage, Megalodon brings the "Jirre". This isn’t background noise — this is metal with teeth.

TerroRaze:

TerroRaze is a technical and brutal death metal force rising from the heavy music underbelly of Cape Town, South Africa. Formed in May 2022, the band has rapidly carved out a distinct lane in the local scene, channeling a sonic identity that explores the bleak themes of a political and cybernetic apocalypse. Driven by complex, hyper-focused arrangements, their sound merges aggressive velocity with unforgiving, precise instrumentation.

MØRN:

MØRN is an emerging force in the South African extreme music scene, injecting fresh intensity directly from the underground of Cape Town. Forging a signature sound they define as modern blackened death metal, the group has quickly become known for their chaotic, high-energy live shows that deliver an alchemical mix of ritualistic metal & esotericism beyond the realms of mere mortals.
