ABOUT
The Art of Being
Move. Rest. Create.
Before the rush, one morning for you.
It's been a big year. Most of us kept going through more than we let on: the pressure, the uncertainty, the days we said "I'm fine" and weren't quite.
And December won't slow down. It speeds up. The year-end functions, the shopping, the hosting, the long drive to the coast, the people who need us. It's the season we give the most and rest the least.
The Art of Being is a pause placed deliberately before all of that. Not a reward for surviving the year, and not another thing to get right. Just four and a half unhurried hours to put the weight down before you pick up the season. High on Linksfield Ridge, with the whole city below, you'll move gently, rest deeply and create something simply for the pleasure of making it.
Your morning, in three movements
MOVE | Come back to your body
Begin with gentle yoga and guided breathwork led by Variza Roopa. An opportunity to release tension, settle into your body and ease into the morning at your own pace. No previous yoga experience or special flexibility required.

REST | Let the world grow quiet
Settle into an immersive crystal singing bowl sound journey with Pravani Pillay. Rest comfortably as the gentle, resonant sounds invite you to pause, unwind and enjoy a moment of stillness. Nothing to do. Nowhere else to be.

CREATE | Rediscover the pleasure of play
Then, something a little different: a guided ceramic painting session where you'll personalise your own piece, choosing colours and designs that feel like you.
You'll be guided every step of the way, so no artistic experience is needed and there's no pressure to make it perfect. Each piece is fired and glazed for you afterwards: a small reminder of the morning you gave yourself.

Your ceramic keepsake
Your piece will be professionally glazed and fired after the experience, ready in a few weeks. Once it's ready, we'll be in touch to arrange collection from the ceramic studio, Variza or Pravani. If you're travelling over the holidays, collection in January can be arranged. You'll also take home a thoughtful keepsake, with a small reminder to make room for joy beyond the morning.
A little more to enjoy
Between the experiences, slow down over a nourishing grazing brunch, enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Eonia Day Sanctuary and, if you feel like it, take a refreshing dip in the pool. We'll close the morning together with a gentle moment of reflection before returning to the day.

Your experience includes
- Guided yoga and breathwork
- A crystal singing bowl sound journey
- A guided ceramics session, with all materials
- Your own ceramic piece, fired and glazed for you
- Welcome tea and a nourishing grazing brunch
