THABO SMOL PRESENTS — DI THUPA TSA SMOL: LIVE AND RE-IMAGINED (PART 3)

Third time's a charm! And this time,we had to listening to the people.

What started as a live music experience is slowly becoming something much bigger — a celebration of an artist, a remarkable journey, and a moment that is long overdue.

Following the overwhelming love and demand, Thabo Smol returns to Untitled Basement for Part 3 of Di Thupa Tsa Smol: Live and Re-imagined.

This three-show series is becoming our way of giving Thabo Smol his flowers while celebrating a remarkable year, including his Grammy nod.

For over 15 years, Thabo has helped shape the sound of South African music. From his groundbreaking work with Black Motion to his bold exploration of jazz, alternative and ambient electronic sounds, his journey has been one of constant evolution.

And through it all, he has quietly raised the South African flag, leading with love, humility and an unwavering belief in the music.

2026 has undoubtedly been a defining year for Thabo Smol. His debut jazz album, Di Thupa Tsa Smol, has opened an exciting new chapter, one rooted in spiritual expression, creative healing and artistic freedom.

What makes this moment particularly special is how naturally it has unfolded. No unnecessary noise. No chasing trends. Just an artist trusting his creative instincts and allowing the music to speak for itself.

At Untitled Basement, we believe these are the moments worth celebrating. Moments where artists are recognised not only for what they have achieved, but for their courage to evolve, take risks and continue contributing to South African music culture.

This is more than another show. It's a celebration of legacy, reinvention and a well-deserved moment to give Thabo Smol his flowers.

And what better way to celebrate than with three nights of incredible music, love and good energy?
