Music Appreciation Workshop

Music Appreciation Workshop

Need something fun and creative to keep the kiddies entertained while you get some shopping done? We’ve got you covered! Drop your little ones off at Kwena Music Academy for a jam-packed Music Appreciation Workshop, hosted by one of our phenomenal teachers, Luca Hamman!

Over the course of the afternoon, the children will develop their listening skills, rhythm, coordination, creativity and musical awareness, all while having a fantastic time!

What can they look forward to?

• Boomwhacker Fun: Play along to hit songs using boomwhackers.
• Percussion Party: Learn basic rhythms and percussion beats while experimenting with instruments such as egg shakers, tambourines and more.
• DIY Instrument Making: Get creative by making their very own musical shaker to take home!
• Music Theory and Ear Training Games: Discover the basics of music theory and ear training through fun, interactive activities.
• Lunch Break: Parents are welcome to pre-order food from our Maestro’s café when dropping their children off at 12:00, so that lunch is ready for them during the break. Alternatively, children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch.
