Iona at The Wine Room

We invite you to join us on the 29th October 2026 at The Wine Room in Constantia Old Village for a sumptuous, curated tasting experience hosted by the acclaimed Jacqui Henderson of lona Wines. Iona Wines will be presenting a selection of wines from a variety of harvests and varietals; focusing on Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. lona is next door to the cold Atlantic Ocean while simultaneously being at an elevated altitude; hence the summer winds rolling across the vines form clouds that blanket the farm on warm days, protecting the grapes from the harsh African sun and allowing for slow ripening with perfect acidity, moderate alcohol and beautifully developed flavours.

The wines to be presented by Jackie are as follows; lona Sauvignon Blanc Wild Ferment 2025, lona Chardonnay 2024, lona Pinot Noir 2025, One Man Band Red Blend 2022 and the Solace Syrah 2022.

The event will open at 17:30 with lona Sauvignon Blanc 2026 - winner of the FNB Award - as a welcome drink and light refreshments.
