The Deep South is getting its very own Oktober Beer Fest – and everyone's invited!

Three of the Deep South's favourite craft breweries – South Beer, Charlie's Garage Craft Brewery and Aegir Project are coming together for a weekend of great beer, delicious food, live music, games and good old-fashioned community spirit.

But this is about so much more than beer.

We're creating a festival that brings the Deep South together. A place where friends can reconnect, families can spend the day outdoors, kids can have an absolute blast, and everyone can enjoy the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay for just one more.

Enjoy a fantastic selection of locally brewed craft beers from our three participating breweries. Not a beer drinker? No problem! We'll also have wine, gin and tonics, and other refreshing options available.

?? LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

Get ready to dance, sing along and celebrate! We'll have live music throughout both days, featuring authentic German Oktoberfest music brought to you by none other than Adolf Thelen and the SONGSCAPE BEERFEST BAND! From traditional German oompah favourites to timeless classics and crowd-pleasing hits, expect a fantastic mix of music that will keep the festival spirit alive all weekend long. Throw in some exciting surprise acts, plenty of sing-along moments and hit after hit, and you've got the perfect recipe for a proper Deep South celebration. Bring your dancing shoes, raise your glasses and get ready for a weekend of unforgettable music and good times!

Come hungry! Our food trucks will be serving up a delicious variety of festival favourites, including German-inspired food and plenty of options for the whole family.

A LITTLE HALLOWEEN FUN FOR THE KIDS

Saturday is Halloween, and we haven't forgotten about the little ones!

We'll have a dedicated Kids Zone, fun activities, games and Halloween face painting so the kids can get into the spooky spirit before heading out for their evening trick-or-treating adventures.

Bring the family, bring the grandparents, bring your friends there's something for everyone.

Get involved in festival games, enjoy a little friendly competition, soak up the music and settle in for a proper Deep South celebration.

The Deep South Oktober Beer Fest is proudly local, created by local people and local breweries, with a vision of becoming an annual celebration that brings our community together while supporting local businesses, musicians and suppliers.

• Venue: Fish Hoek Sports Fields, Nelson Road
• Tickets: R350 – includes festival entry, a branded 1-litre Oktoberfest glass (Maß) and your first fill, subject to the first 500 ticket offer.
