Your Tuesday night plans just got a whole lot better.
Introducing Pour Favor, a new wine tasting series bringing together some of South Africa's most exciting winemakers, Arthur's Mini Super's legendary snacks and a very good reason to raise a glass.
On Tuesday, 3 November, we're taking over a section of Arthur's Mini Super in Sea Point for an evening of great wine, delicious bites and good company - all in support of Ladles of Love.
And with just 50 tickets available, you'll want to get in early.
What's pouring?
Three brilliant local winemakers, each bringing something different to the table:
• Mother Rock Wines – expressive, minimal-intervention wines with plenty of Swartland character.
• Testalonga – boundary-pushing, naturally made wines from one of South Africa's most exciting producers.
• Intellego Wines – small-batch Swartland wines with personality, creativity and a sense of place.
What's cooking?
Arthur's Mini Super is bringing the snacks, served platter-style and made for sharing:
Cheesy Marmite toasties, mini boerie rolls, fried pickles, NikNaks and homemade Rice Krispie treats.
Nothing fancy. Just really good food to go with really good wine.
A little wine goes a long way
The best part? All proceeds from the evening go directly to Ladles of Love, helping the Cape Town-based organisation provide meals and food support to communities in need.
So every glass raised is a little something towards making a difference.

• When: Tuesday, 3 November

• Time: From 6pm until close
• Tickets: R250 per person, including wine tasting and food
• Capacity: Just 50 guests
Come with friends, bring a date or fly solo. This isn't a formal, swirl-your-glass-and-take-notes kind of tasting. It's a chance to discover some brilliant wines, eat delicious food and enjoy a good night out.
Good to know:
• Tickets are limited to 50 and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
• No tickets will be sold at the door, so booking is essential.
• Tickets are non-refundable but transferable.
• Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate specific food allergies or dietary requirements.
Good wine tastes even better when it's for a good cause.
