ABOUT
HALLOWEEN DRESS-UP FOR CHELO!
Friday, 30 October 2026
It’s that spooky time of year again! We’re inviting the whole school to get involved in our annual Halloween Dress-Up Day and help us raise funds to support the bursary students at HBIS.
How to take part:
Please donate R50 per child by purchasing tickets.
Who is CHELO?
CHELO is a B-BBEE Level 1 organisation and registered NPO, established in 2007 by a group of parents in partnership with Hout Bay International School (HBIS).
HBIS contributes the school fees for our bursary students, while CHELO covers all their other direct financial, social and educational costs.
We currently support 13 students — one in each year group, starting from PYP1. These costs add up, and CHELO relies on continuous fundraising and the generous contribution of money, time and energy from our supportive parent community.
Every R50 makes a difference.
Dress up. Have fun. Make a difference!
