Philadlozi Live at Jozi Gold Brewing Company

Phila Dlozi is a South African singer-songwriter whose music is deeply rooted in African spirituality, storytelling and lived experience. Singing predominantly in isiZulu, his distinctive voice carries a rawness and warmth that moves effortlessly between Afro-soul, traditional African influences and contemporary sounds.

Known for songs such as Ikhandlela and Babekazi, Phila’s music explores themes of home, family, love, ancestry and the spiritual connections that shape who we are.

His live performances are intimate, soulful and deeply emotive — placing his powerful voice and storytelling at the centre of the experience. Whether accompanied simply by guitar or a full band, Phila creates a space where audiences are invited not only to listen, but to feel, reflect and connect.
