Garden Day 2026: celebrate your garden and support Pave The Way

Celebrate your garden and join the Garden Day movement. Tickets are R250 each, buy as many as you like, and the money raised goes to Pave The Way.

What is this?

This is the Pam Golding Properties Gauteng Metro Garden Day fundraiser. Tickets are R250 each and you can buy as many as you like. By buying a ticket you support Garden Day, join the movement and celebrate your garden, and the money raised goes to Pave The Way.

Who is it for?

The money raised goes to Pave The Way. Working in collaboration with Cross The Divide, a Johannesburg NPO that works directly with homeless and displaced people, Pave The Way connects people experiencing hardship with paid, meaningful work cleaning and restoring our streets, pavements and shared public spaces. It is dignity through work: someone earns an income, and a neighbourhood gets cleaner.

What your money does

The money raised from ticket sales goes directly to Pave The Way.

R250 (one ticket) funds one person's paid four hour shift and a meal.

R2,500 (ten tickets) funds a ten person team.

R10,000 (forty tickets) funds 40 paid work opportunities.

R25,000 (one hundred tickets) funds 100 paid work opportunities.

How it works

1. Choose how many tickets you would like. Each ticket costs R250 and there is no limit, so you can buy as many as you like.

2. Check out securely on Quicket. Your tickets will be emailed to you.

3. Celebrate your garden on Garden Day, Sunday, 18 October.

4. Tickets are on sale until Saturday, 31 October 2026 at 23:59.

5. The money raised is paid over to Pave The Way.

Share your photos of your garden party on Garden Day with us. Post a photo of your garden or garden party with #GardenDaySA and tag @pamgoldinggroup, or email it to [email protected], to take part in our free photo competition. Three prizes for your garden, sponsored by GardenShop at Nine Yards, go to the best photos.

The photo competition is open to everyone. You do not need to buy a ticket to enter, and buying a ticket does not affect your chances. The winners are chosen on merit by our judging panel.

Photo entries close on Sunday, 25 October 2026 at 23:59. The winners will be announced on Monday, 2 November at GardenShop at Nine Yards and invited to collect their prizes that week.

Garden Day is on Sunday, 18 October. On the morning, find the Pam Golding Properties team at Nine Yards, handing out flower crowns. Cannot make it? Make your own, because it is easy and your local florist will happily help.
