After a highly anticipated return to Durban, Internet Athi comes back to The Chairman for his second performance at the venue - this time carrying the full weight, depth and beauty of his debut album, Polymorphism.
Released in April 2026, Polymorphism marks a defining new chapter for the Cape Town-based artist: an 11-track body of work that explores the many forms love can take - romantic love, friendship, family, grief, community and the complicated process of becoming.
For Athi, Polymorphism is deeply personal. Drawing from his experiences as a son, friend, brother and partner, the album considers how one person can exist in many forms, carrying different emotions, relationships and identities at once. Its title takes inspiration from the world of Computer Science, where one entity can exist in multiple forms - an idea Athi translates into an intimate musical exploration of love and identity.
And now, Durban gets to experience it live.
From the songs that first introduced audiences to his world - “Wena”, “Nguwe” and “Undithembisile” - to the new material from Polymorphism, expect an evening of soulful arrangements, powerful musicianship, intimate storytelling and the kind of live-band energy that demands to be experienced in the room.
Come early. Settle in. Listen closely.
This is Internet Athi - live at The Chairman.
