ABOUT
Join Artist Becca Grey at Chat Noir for a beginner-friendly introduction and exploration to ink.
In this 2-hour workshop, we invite you to express, observe, and draw with intention. We’ll explore the expressive and unpredictable nature of ink—learning to embrace marks, mistakes, and the beauty of imperfection.
Through a series of guided exercises, you’ll experiment with mark-making, tonal washes, layering, and texture, while developing a more intuitive way of drawing. Rather than striving for perfect outcomes, this workshop focuses on capturing moments, ideas, and impressions as they unfold.
Becca is an NMU Honours graduate in painting and a Chat Noir employee whose practice extends across multiple mediums, driven by a curiosity for experimentation.
