ENOUGH HIKE LAUNCH

The ENOUGH Movement was born out of a deep concern regarding the escalating violence against women in South Africa, particularly the gruesome unaliving of women. These incidents have reinforced the urgent need for practical interventions that goes beyond raising awareness and provide women and communities with knowledge, skills, resources and support that may assist in preventing harm and responding to situations of danger.

It is against this background that the Lindelani Umusa Foundation has established the ENOUGH Movement, a women’s safety and empowerment initiative aimed at equipping women and children with practical knowledge, skills and resources to recognise, prevent and respond to harmful situations. The movement is founded on the belief that communities must be equipped with practical tools while working collectively in addressing the conditions that place women and children at risk.
