2026 West Coast Art Competition

Prize-Giving, Exhibition & Charity Auction

Join us on Saturday, 24 October 2026, at Strandkombuis, Yzerfontein, for a special afternoon celebrating art, artistic achievement, community and giving back.

The West Coast Art Competition 2026 Prize-Giving, Exhibition & Charity Auction brings together participating artists, judges, art lovers, families and the wider community for an afternoon dedicated to the visual arts.

PRIZE-GIVING

Celebrate the achievements of the artists who participated in the 2026 West Coast Art Competition and discover the works recognised by this year's judges.

ART EXHIBITION

View a curated selection of artworks from the Professional, Semi-Professional and Amateur divisions, including competition entries and selected additional exhibition works.

As part of this year's exhibition, we are also honoured to present a special selection of works by the late internationally recognised artist Herman van Nazareth, celebrating his life, work and artistic legacy.

The exhibition will also include selected works by some of our competition judges, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the work of established artists who have contributed their expertise to the competition.

CHARITY AUCTION

A selection of artworks donated by participating artists will be offered in our charity auction in aid of the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI).

All proceeds from the charity auction will support the NSRI, helping contribute towards the vital work carried out by this organisation.

AN AFTERNOON OF ART & GOOD FOOD

Guests can enjoy a relaxed afternoon at Strandkombuis, with a harvest table included in the ticket price.

A selection of wines and other beverages will be available for purchase.
