ABOUT
MJOLO: THE DATING PANDEMIC
Your mjolo has questions. We have more.
What makes us attracted to certain people? Why do we keep choosing the same kinds of relationships? Why is it so difficult to let go? And is love something that happens to us — or something we choose?
This October, Pints & Perspectives brings its first themed series to the table: Mjolo: The Dating Pandemic.
Across a series of provocative conversations, psychologists and scholars from different disciplines unpack the science, culture and human behaviour behind the relationships we create, the people we desire and the choices we make.
This isn't a lecture.
It's not relationship advice.
And we're definitely not promising to solve your mjolo.
It's a conversation.
Each evening puts Psychology at the centre, bringing another discipline into the room to challenge, complicate or expand the question. Then we bring in the audience — because lived experience belongs at the table too.
Expect serious ideas, uncomfortable questions, different perspectives, a few laughs and conversations that might continue long after the evening ends.
