Forage Feast Flush, a Forest Therapy and Earth Medicines Guided Forage

Forage Feast Flush

A Forest Therapy & Earth Medicines Guided Forage

Two birthdays, one forest. On Sunday, 1 November, we're celebrating Fungus Among Us's birthday and Duncan's birthday together, out at Farfalla Farm — and you're invited to spend the day living out our three pillars in one go: Forage, Feast, and Flush.

This is Forest Therapy and Earth Medicines — a guided foray where every mushroom we find becomes a story. Duncan will lead the walk, sharing healing properties, folklore, and the quiet medicine of the forest floor as we go, exploring what's fruiting this season and what it can teach us — joined by guest Nature Guide Graeme Pienaar, who'll contribute his own insight on the edible and medicinal plants and trees we pass along the way.

Then we Feast. Whatever edible fungi you find, Mary-Jo will cook it — your morning's discoveries transformed into a shared lunch at the end of the trail. While you eat your wild fungi lunch, Duncan will give a free cultivation talk — the Flush pillar in action — with hands-on instructions for growing your own Mushroom Grow Kit at home.

We're also honoured to have Garth from Save a Pet joining us on the day, representing the charity that a third of every ticket's profit supports.

Browse the FAU market tables between courses and conversations — grow kits, foraging kits, tinctures, artisanal crafts, fungi apparel, and a sensory table where you can examine real forest fungi under a microscope. Pick up an "I Attended" sticker and badge to mark the day. Card machine and EFT available for all market purchases.

Spaces are limited to 45, so this one's intimate by design.
