Rueda Wine Company at The Wine Room

We invite you to join us on the 8th October 2026 at The Wine Room in Constantia Old Village for a luxury, curated tasting hosted by the acclaimed Johan Rossouw of Rueda Wine Company. Rueda Wine Company will be hosting a comparative tasting experience; tasting local and international varietals of the crowd favourites out of imported hand-blown glassware from Izaak Reich. This is a limited opportunity to engage with some of the most sought-after imported and local wines out of premium glassware all the while enjoying the sophisticated atmosphere of our cultured Constantia showroom.

The wines to be presented by Johan are as follows; Chenin Blanc: Francois Chidaine Vouvray les Argiles 2023 (international) vs Sakkie Mouton Revenge of The Crayfish 2025 (local); Syrah: Jean Baptiste Souillard Syrah 2023 (international) vs Minimalist No Place Like Home 2024 (local); and Cabernet Franc: La Grange Tiphaine Becarre Cabernet Franc 2022 (international) vs Hasher Family Wine Cyriel Cabernet Franc 2023 (local).

The event will open at 17:30 with Rebel Rebel Cinsault Pet Nat as a welcome drink and light refreshments from Bennet's Deli.
