Mbatlo Carving Workshop Volume 3

This is Volume 3 of Mbatlo Carving X workshop at Gallery Du Parc, Alliance Francaise, Johannesburg.

This workshop continues to offer interested people an opportunity to carve with me using my family legacy tool an Adzes called Mbatlo in my Tsonga language.

My late Grandfather used the Mbatlo tool to make his craft and my father, an Acclaimed wood carving Sculptor is still using the Mbatlo tool to make his Art.

Come and Join me Collen Maswanganyi if you are willing to learn to do Wood carving, have fun carving with Mbatlo tool. I Use the Mbatlo tool to make fine Art.

Each participant will have their own Mbatlo, Carving Chisels, Okapi knife and materials like pieces of wood to carve with, a stool to seat and to carve on.

This workshop Coincides with my Upcoming Solo exhibition at the Gallery.
