Cape Town Guided Community Hike — God's Window & The Cave

Most people have never heard of this one.

God's Window is one of those trails that makes you stop and question how you've lived in Cape Town this long without knowing it existed. A sunrise start, a climb through fynbos, a cave that opens up halfway through the route, and views that make the effort feel almost unfair.

Different trail. Different story. Same small group.

We start before the city wakes up and we're back down before most people have had breakfast.

THE DETAILS

• Meeting point: Kalk Bay (exact meeting point sent via WhatsApp 48hrs before the hike)
• Meet: 5am sharp — be there, not on your way there
• Duration: ~3.5 hours
• Distance: ~6km
• Elevation: ~380m gain
• Fitness: Moderate — a real hike but more accessible than Kasteelspoort. If you did the last one you'll fly through this.
• Trail shoes or hiking boots.
• Bring: 2L water, snacks, sunscreen, a layer for the top

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the hike date are eligible for a booking transfer to a future Trail Keepers hike. No cash refunds will be issued for participant cancellations under any circumstances. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the hike forfeit the booking entirely. If TrailsAwait cancels due to unsafe weather or unsafe conditions, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date.
