What is it? The Upstage Set Experience is a groundbreaking educational partnership between UC High Performance Studio and Kingdom Productions. This initiative provides students with the exciting professional opportunity to be officially cast in a real film production. By immersing young performers in a professional set environment. Complete with strict continuity regulations and rigorous shooting schedules for a safe and disciplined set experience for the students - the USE concept teaches the discipline, preparation, and magic of the film industry.

Film Synopsis: The Major Production

The Major Production is a hilarious and heartfelt satirical look at the modern entertainment industry. The story follows Producer Yoyo, a passionate but incredibly stressed-out lead producer who is desperate to find a fresh, original idea for a new movie for "The Major Production" for Upstage Concepts.

After enduring a chaotic casting call filled with unoriginal pitches from trend-obsessed Chic Creatives, emotional punk-rockers, internet-brained YouTubers, and eccentric interpretative dancers, Yoyo is pushed to the brink. In a moment of frantic inspiration, she has an epiphany: she will combine every single pitched idea into one massive, chaotic show.

As the messy logistics of making the movie unfold and she is managed by her skeptical Associate Producers and narrated by a sarcastic, fourth-wall-breaking Chorus - the emotional core of the film shines through a simply boy and girl who remind us all that sometimes all that is required is to step out and take a leap of faith.
