Join Johannesburg In Your Pocket and talented photographer Clare Appleyard for a guided jacaranda walk and photography experience through the streets and parks of Parkwood and Rosebank, finishing with sundowner views from the rooftop at Workshop17 The Firestation.
The walk starts at The Firestation Lobby and winds through the parks of Rosebank before stopping at Epicure by Chef Coco, where appetisers will be served alongside serene views of the city. Along the way, Claire will share expert tips on capturing the perfect shot, from framing and light to making the most of Johannesburg’s famous purple canopy.
The walk ends at Workshop17 on the 10th floor of The Firestation, arriving in time to watch the Johannesburg skyline turn gold as the sun sets over the jacarandas. From the rooftop, take in spectacular views across the city in one direction and towards Northcliff Ridge in the other.
Ahead of the walk, guests will receive a short guide to photography basics, so cameras of all kinds are welcome.
