This is theatre made by Redhill students, from the first idea to the final performance.

For one night, our four Senior School Houses take to the stage with four completely original works, created, directed and performed by students. Different stories. Different worlds. Different voices. All brought from page to stage by the young people behind them.

Under the guidance of Dr Bailey Snyman, Head of Drama, the House Play Festival celebrates not only performance, but everything that happens before the curtain rises: writing, directing, collaboration, experimentation and the courage to put an original idea in front of an audience.

Shoes follows a series of lives connected in unexpected ways by the things we wear, lose and leave behind.

Something happened on the seventh floor. Everyone remembers it differently.

In this atmospheric noir mystery, fragments of testimony, memory and suspicion collide as an old story begins to unravel. Every door hides another version of the truth, and some secrets never leave the seventh floor.

As preparations continue and expectations collide, a familiar celebration begins to reveal something altogether unexpected.
