Presenting professionally on Zoom is about far more than knowing where the Share button is.

Your facilitator, Terry Winship, is a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), founder of Mudita Concepts, and an experienced technology trainer, facilitator and presentation coach. She has spent more than 20 years helping professionals use technology confidently and effectively in training, presentations and business communication. She is also a Distinguished Toastmaster, TEDx Cape Town coach and PechaKucha Cape Town City Organiser.

When you are presenting online, you need to be able to manage Zoom confidently while still focusing on your audience. That means knowing what your participants can see, how to move smoothly between different types of content, and how to use Zoom's presentation tools without interrupting the flow of your session.

In this practical 2-hour masterclass, Terry will take you through the Zoom features and techniques that make online presenting easier, smoother and more professional.

You will explore how to:

• Set up your Zoom screen as a participant or presenter, so that you can see the people and information you need while presenting.
• Share professionally, including the difference between sharing your screen, a window, an application, browser content, files and other sharing options.
• Control what your audience sees, including checking what you are currently sharing, pausing a share, starting a new share and moving between different content.
• Use Zoom's sharing layouts to manage the relationship between your presentation and your camera.
• Annotate shared content and understand when annotation can add value.
• Share sound and music correctly and use Zoom tools such as the timer and music apps.
• Understand the difference between desktop applications, browser windows and individual windows, so that you choose the safest and most effective option for each presentation.
• Work more confidently with PowerPoint and Zoom, without constantly wondering what your audience can see.

The emphasis throughout is practical. You will see the features demonstrated and understand not only how they work, but when and why you would use them.

Because the goal is not simply to know Zoom.

The goal is to make the technology disappear, so your audience can concentrate on you and your message.

Please note: The demonstrations will be delivered using Zoom on a Windows computer. If you use a Mac, some menus, buttons and shortcuts may look slightly different, although the core Zoom features and principles are the same.
