On Saturday, 14 November (10:00 – 15:00), join The Maker's Route: Food and Drink edition — a self-drive experience across the Midlands Meander.
Handpicked makers, including Abingdon, Bluebird Coffee Roastery, Indezi River Creamery and The Notties Brewery, are opening their doors for one day only, each offering a once-off experience you won't find on a normal visit — a look behind the scenes at how your favourite products are actually made, or something a little different from what's on offer any other day.

- Abingdon Wine Estate and Indezi River Creamery (11:00 - 15:00, top of the hour every hour)
Join the Abingdon Wine Estate team for a tasting of 5 of their award winning Estate wines, accompanied by a delicious Indezi cheese board specifically curated to compliment the wines.
- Highgate Wine Estate (10:00 - 15:00, top of the hour, every hour)
Join us for a 30-minute guided tour through the Highgate vineyards and cellar. Learn how we grow grapes in the unique KZN climate, the challenges we face, and how we make wine. Enjoy a taste of our Highgate Rose along the way, finishing with a tasting of Highgate Chardonnay.
- Bluebird Coffee Roastery (10:00 - one session only)
Join the Bluebird team at 10:00 for a full, immersive Roastery tour, a cupping table with world-class coffees (coffee tasting), and an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Bluebird, a multi-award-winning Cafe and Roastery.
- Nottingham Road Brewery (10:00 - 14:00, top of the hour, every hour)
Enjoy a brewery and distillery tour, followed by tasters of the Nottingham Rd Brewery beers and gin 'n tonics
