In the tradition of the multiple award-winning My Fellow South Africans and its similarly impactful predecessors, Pay Back the Curry and State Fracture, FAMILY MEETING is a multi-sketch satirical revue featuring a talented performer. Written by Mike van Graan, FAMILY MEETING platforms Awethu Hleli in a range of sketches that provide provocative contemporary social and political commentary through drama, comedy, song and poetry. With the forthcoming local government elections, FAMILY MEETING encourages audiences to think and reflect even as they laugh out loud and experience moments of catharsis.
