ABOUT
KAN JY DANS CULTURAL SHOWCASE 2026
DANCE. MUSIC. CULTURE. PASSION.
Cape Town, are you ready?
On 12 December 2026, Kan Jy Dans brings the energy of Cape Town’s dance culture to the stage for an unforgettable evening celebrating movement, music, creativity and local talent.
Expect a dynamic showcase featuring 6 selected dance groups, 2–3 solo performers and DJ showcases from Beat Bangerz DJ Academy, bringing together different styles, sounds and expressions under one roof.
From Hip Hop and Pantsula to Amapiano, Contemporary, Riel Dans and more, this is a celebration of the many ways we move, connect and tell our stories through dance.
Whether you’re part of the dance community, a supporter of local talent, or simply looking for something different to experience, KJD Cultural Showcase is where Cape Town’s dance culture comes alive.
Come for the performances.
Stay for the energy.
Experience the culture.
