ABOUT
LEE COLE LIVE | MUSIC BOX JHB DARK ROOM SESSIONS
You're invited to a night of mystery, music, and a little bit of magic this Halloween, as Music Box JHB turns down the lights and bumps up the atmosphere for an unforgettable live performance by acclaimed South African singer-songwriter & producer Lee Cole.
Known for hits like Blind, Headrush, Pink Dragons, and Honey, Let Me In, Cole blends pop, R&B, and soul with powerful vocals and emotionally-driven storytelling to produce a unique musical repertoire that has captivated millions both locally and internationally.
From chart-topping singles to electric live performances, including opening for global music icon Robbie Williams and performing alongside rock legends Prime Circle, Cole has quickly established himself as one of South Africa's most exciting musical talents. His last three singles alone have amassed more than 3,000 plays across South African radio, collectively reaching an audience of over 172 million listeners.
Fresh off the release of his newest EP Letters to Myself, which explores personal growth, relationships, and change through contrasting sounds and emotions, the Music Box is honoured to welcome Cole as he premieres this new chapter in a special edition Dark Room Session live from the Music Box JHB stage.
Expect an intimate candlelit atmosphere, good food and flowing drinks, all within the bespoke surrounds of The Art of Expressions, specially transformed for the night to draw you deeper into the music and the moment.
Come dressed in your best or add a little Halloween flair to your look. Whether you keep it classic with your favourite night-out fit or lean into something darker and dramatic, more mysterious or playful, costumes are encouraged but not compulsory. And for those who really commit to the theme, there may be a little something for the best-dressed guests on the night.
Tickets include the full Music Box experience, with select food served by Xpressions Café before the show and drinks available throughout the evening. Grab a pizza, order something cold, settle in and let the night unfold.
