ABOUT
Paint & Sip is a fun and unique way to uncork your creativity as a local professional artist takes you step by step through the process of unleashing your inner artist to recreate your very own masterpiece. You’ll get a canvas, paint, brushes, a professional art lesson, four delicious canapé style bowl meals prepared by D’Aria’s award-winning chefs, and of course, a glass of wine to sip on while our featured artist takes you step-by-step through recreating a masterpiece for you to take home.
All proceeds raised help Call 2 Care (NPO) transform vulnerable communities in need. Your participation at this unique and fun event will help us make a difference to those less fortunate.
♥ The Food ♥
You will be served four delicious Canapé style bowl meals prepared by D’Aria’s award-winning chefs during the event. Please do let us know if you have any dietary requirements by at least 4 days before the event so we can make alternative arrangements.

Available on-site parking at the venue.
♥ Seating ♥
When purchasing tickets, you will be presented with options for choosing your seats. The earlier you book, the better your seating options are. Tables are available in sets of 6 and 7 participants per table so kindly ensure that you book your group tickets together to ensure that you are all seated together. Our events include a state of the art speaker system and video projector on a large screen so you will never miss out on the action.
♥ Materials ♥
All paint materials for the class will be provided. At the end of the evening, you will also take your completed art piece home. No aprons provided so expect to get creatively dirty.
♥ Featured Artist: Nadia Estelwen Viljoen ♥
Captivating your attention with surreal juxtaposed imagery and bright colours, the viewer becomes lost in a visual representation of her inner landscape. Nadia Estelwen Viljoen graduated in Fine Art at Ruth Prowse School of Art in 2014 where she started exploring with different mediums. Her inspiration to use popular culture imagery comes from her middle class upbringing that has been bombarded by a cliche´-ridden society. She uses iconic subject matters, to provoke reminiscence. Nadia explore mediums eg. spray paint, acrylic paint and resin to add to the mass produced feel combining it with traditional techniques in oil paints. She draws a lot of inspiration from old masters like Joan Miro, Marc Chagall, Charles Bel and John Singer Sargent. The contrast she creates in her work is one that reflects the internal battle she experiences between the pressure to create commercial images and the need for unique expressive creation.
