Come and experience what 25 years of local land restoration looks and feels like!

Join us on 4 October 2026 at 9am for a fun, family-friendly 5km Run / Walk through the beautiful Fisanthoek landscape. Bring the whole family, breathe in the fresh air, explore the fynbos and restored landscape, win some great prizes and celebrate the people who have dedicated years to caring for this land.

This event is about more than a morning outdoors. Every step helps build a safer, healthier and more resilient community. Your participation supports the local Fire Management Unit in its work towards preventative fuel management and ecosystem restoration—reducing wildfire risk while caring for the natural ecosystems that surround us.
