On Friday 18 September, African Journal Club and Raats Family Wines meet on the rooftop at 44 Stanley for a small, intimate evening of wine, words and stories as the sun goes down over Jo'burg.

It's the perfect start to Wine Forty Four weekend, with the main tasting taking over 44 Stanley the next day, Saturday 19 September.

We'll taste. We'll listen. We'll write. We'll toast.

And we'll get curious about the stories held inside the bottle and the ones held inside us.
