Get It Magazine's 21st Birthday Celebration

Get It turns 21, and we're raising a glass!

Twenty-one years of stories, style, people, places and community deserve a proper celebration, and we're pulling out all the stops!

Get It Magazine is turning 21, and we're marking this very special milestone on Thursday, November 26 at Taps on Twenty 4 in Hillcrest with an unforgettable evening celebrating the people who have helped make Get It what it is today.

Expect an evening of fabulous food, drinks, entertainment and a few surprises along the way. Enjoy wine, whisky, gin and craft beer tastings, delicious canapés and fantastic entertainment from Suits of Armour, along with exciting giveaways and an auction.

And then there are the prizes! From indulgent getaways to wonderful local experiences, there are some seriously tempting treats up for grabs, including an incredible two-night stay for two at The Cavern, complete with all meals, teas and guided morning hikes, a two-night stay at Montusi, including meals and guided hikes, and a two-night stay at Sungubala. There'll also be fabulous guest gifts, spot prizes and plenty more surprises on the night.

But this celebration is about more than simply marking a birthday. As part of GBV Awareness Month, we’ll also be raising funds for a local organisation working to support and empower those affected by gender-based violence. So while we’re celebrating 21 years of community, connection and storytelling, we’ll also be using the occasion to give something back to our community.

Most importantly, this is our opportunity to celebrate you – our readers, local businesses, brands, contributors, supporters and friends who have been part of the Get It journey over the past 21 years.
