Elgin Vintners Wine Fun Run – 5km Through the Vineyards

Run it. Walk it. Taste Elgin along the way.

The Elgin Vintners Wine Fun Run returns on 24 September.

Start the morning with coffee before setting off on a 5km route through the vineyards. Stop at every kilometre to taste a different Elgin Vintners wine, or choose a non-alcoholic alternative.

Run or walk at your own pace and enjoy the morning with friends and family.

At the finish, you will be welcomed back with a traditional braai broodjie and a glass of Cloud Haven Sauvignon Blanc, followed by time to relax and enjoy the farm.

Only 50 places are available. Our previous Wine Fun Runs have proved very popular, so early booking is recommended.

The final stop offers an opportunity to discover how the Merlot has developed with additional bottle age.

TICKETS

Adults – R185 per person

Includes coffee, entry to the 5km route, four wine tastings, a braai broodjie and a glass of Cloud Haven Sauvignon Blanc at the finish.

A non-alcoholic option is available.

Children – R100 per child

Includes entry to the 5km route, non-alcoholic refreshments along the way and a braai broodjie at the finish.

Children must be accompanied by a participating adult.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Participation is limited to 50 people.
• Advance booking through Quicket is essential.
• Participants may run or walk the route.
• No wine will be served to anyone under the age of 18.
• Non-alcoholic alternatives will be available at every station.
• Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for a vineyard route.
• Participants are encouraged to drink responsibly and arrange safe transport if required.
• The route closes at 12:00.
