Very few of us are ever taught how to understand art as an asset.

So we thought it was time to open up the conversation.

Join us for an intimate evening exploring the world behind art collecting — the knowledge that often sits within galleries, institutions and established collector circles, but is rarely made accessible to those who are simply curious about where to begin.

Together, we’ll unpack questions like:

• What makes an artist collectible?
• Who determines what a work of art is worth?
• Why does some art appreciate over time?
• How do you identify emerging artists worth paying attention to?
• Can you buy primarily for beauty and still build a valuable collection?
• And perhaps most importantly: how do you begin building a collection when no one has ever taught you how?

Expect an evening of considered conversation, a curated private viewing, wine and an opportunity to experience the works through the eyes of people who understand the art market.
